Free Initial Consultation

The decision to seek therapy for your child is not an easy one.  It is of the utmost importance that you feel comfortable with me and confident of my services.  In order to ensure that I am the right fit, I offer a free thirty minute initial consultation so that we can get to know each other before I work with your child.

Rates

 My fees are $210 for an initial diagnostic session, $140 for 30-45 minute sessions and $160 for 55 minute sessions.  

Phone sessions follow the same fee schedule as regular sessions and may be prorated. For attendance at meetings outside the office (schools, hospitals, etc.), my regular fee plus travel/preparation time is billed.

Insurance

I currently accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois PPO and Aetna PPO insurance.

For all other insurance companies, I am considered an out-of-network provider.  I provide clients using out-of-network provider benefits with the appropriate documentation to receive reimbursements from their insurance companies. I recommend contacting the member services number on your insurance card and inquiring about your out-of-network mental health benefits. Be sure to ask about the deductible, the rate of reimbursement, and any limitation on the number of sessions. 

Payment

Cash, check or credit cards are accepted for payment.  Payment must be made at time of service.

Cancellation Policy

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you cannot keep your appointment.  Outside of emergency situations, if you do not show up for your appointment or do not give 24 hours notice, you will be charged for your appointment.  Please note that insurance cannot be billed for appointments that you do not show up for and you will be responsible for the full fee.
